Water plays a crucial role in dyeing processes. All dyes and auxiliaries act on fibers through water medium. If the calcium and magnesium ion content in water is too high, it directly affects the dyeing effect on fibers, resulting in dull colors at best and darkened hues at worst, with possible color spots or patches appearing. This issue is particularly noticeable during spring when rainfall is low and calcium and magnesium ion levels are higher. The QianTai Chemicals' softener (CT powder) effectively addresses these problems. If the color appears darker or heavier after dyeing, treating it with CT powder under high temperature can significantly improve the hue.

【Product Features】

1. CT powder has excellent softening capabilities and is also a versatile chelating dispersant that forms strong complexes with metal ions such as calcium, iron, and magnesium, while effectively dispersing various impurities.

2. Adding CT powder during various stages of textile processing and knitting production can decompose and remove calcium, iron deposits, silicate scale, and other impurities, effectively reducing the hardness of production water.

3. In the pre-treatment hydrogen peroxide bleaching process, adding CT powder along with an oxygen bleach stabilizer can effectively control the rapid decomposition of hydrogen peroxide, preventing holes from forming, enhancing fabric whiteness, and improving uniformity in bleaching and scouring.

4. Using CT powder for soap boiling after printing or dyeing reduces water hardness, effectively removing unfixed reactive dyes and other dyes, allowing dyed products to achieve good dye fastness without or with minimal fixation agents.

1. As a softener in dyeing and finishing processes

Dosage: 0.3~1.0g/L

Suitable for any dyeing, scouring temperatures and times

2. For brightening and color correction

Dosage: 1.0~2.0g/L

100℃ for 20~50 minutes

(Fibers and fabrics treated with CT powder should be thoroughly cleaned before further processing with cationic finishing agents)
